Privacy Policy
The short version: WhenCanIEat does not collect your personal data. The app has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. Your fasting schedule and history stay on your device and nowhere else.
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how WhenCanIEat (the "App"), made by the WhenCanIEat team, handles information when you use the App on iOS or Android. If you have questions, contact us at support@whencanieat.com.
What we collect
Nothing. WhenCanIEat does not collect, store on a server, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
- We do not require or ask you to create an account.
- We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not collect health, weight, or biometric information of any kind.
- We do not run analytics or usage tracking, ours or anyone else's.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or ad networks.
- We do not use crash-reporting or telemetry SDKs.
Where your data lives
Your fasting schedule, current fast, streak, and history are stored only in the App's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your phone. There is no WhenCanIEat server for it to be sent to, because no such server exists for app data. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes this data. See Delete your data for details.
No third parties
WhenCanIEat does not share data with third parties because it does not collect any data to share. The App does not embed third-party advertising, analytics, or social SDKs.
Purchases through the App Store or Google Play
After your first 2 free fasts, the subscription that keeps the App running is sold and processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store. Payment details, billing information, and your subscription status are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not by us. We never see or receive your payment information. The App only checks with the store whether your subscription is active, so it can keep tracking locally on your device.
Children's privacy
Because WhenCanIEat collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is intended for a general audience interested in scheduling their eating windows.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example if we add an optional feature that involves data leaving the device, we will update this page and change the effective date above before that feature ships. As of the effective date shown, the App collects nothing.
